If you use this service, could you please send us a mail to npsang@ibcp.fr with details about your usage of the NPSA service (tools used, frequency, type of sequence, ..) ? Could you explain what makes this service unique for you ? Could you please add information about your country and your laboratory ? Thanks

When you see in NPS@ the sentence "Paste a protein/nucleic sequence databank in Pearson/Fasta format below" or the sentence "Protein/Nucleic sequence databank in Pearson/Fasta format to upload" you must paste or upload a sequence databank as indicated below.

SEQUENCE DATABASE :
All sequence names must be different !

Sequence databases must be in Pearson/FASTA format :
   >Sequence_identifier1 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   >Sequence_identifier2 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   ...
or in Pearson/FASTA double pipe format :
   >database_identifier|something_or_nothing|Sequence_identifier1 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   >database_identifier|something_or_nothing|Sequence_identifier2 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   ...
In this case NPS@ retrieve database_identifier and sequence_identifier.
If the database_identifier is known by NPS@, a link on database will be proposed.
