What is ACNUC ?
ACNUC is a retrieval system for the nucleotide sequence databases GenBank or EMBL and for the protein sequence databases SWISS-PROT or NBRF. The SWISS-PROT database is supplemented with the TrEMBL data in order to obtain a complete protein sequence database.

How to use ACNUC with NPS@ ?
For proteic databases :

  1. You must go to URL :http://pbil.univ-lyon1.fr/search/query.html
  2. Choose for example SWISSPROT+TrEMBL database.
  3. Enter your selection criteria.
  4. Click on SUBMIT button.
  5. On next page, click on Analyze button to retrieve NPS@.
For nucleic databases :
  1. You must go to URL :http://pbil.univ-lyon1.fr/search/query.html
  2. Choose for example EMBL database.
  3. Enter your selection criteria.
  4. In one of this selection criteria select Type and type in text field CDS
  5. Click on SUBMIT button.
  6. On next page, click on Analyze button to retrieve NPS@.
